HOLOSCOPEOPEN TERMINAL

GUIDE

How to buy graded Pokémon cards onchain

You need a wallet, some USDC and a way to tell a fair price from a bad one. No prior crypto experience required.

OPEN THE TERMINAL

1. Get a wallet

Sign in to HoloScope with Google, X or email and a Solana wallet is created for you. If you already use a Solana wallet, you can sign in with that instead. HoloScope does not store your private keys.

2. Add USDC and a little SOL

Listings are priced in dollars and settled in USDC, a dollar stablecoin. The same wallet address takes both USDC and SOL. Keep at least 0.001 SOL for network fees, and send a small test amount first if you have never done this.

3. Find the card

Browse live deals in the scanner, or look up a card on the price pages first so you know its market before you go shopping. If nothing is listed at your price, set an alert and wait.

4. Check the price against sales

  • Is the sale from the same grader and grade? A PSA 9 tells you little about a PSA 10.
  • Is it the same printing and language? First Edition, Shadowless, reverse holo and Japanese printings each trade on their own.
  • How recent are the sales, and how many are there? Two sales from last year are weak evidence.
  • Is the same card cheaper on another marketplace? HoloScope shows other asks next to the one you opened.

5. Check the slab

Look at the photos and the grade on the label. Where a certificate number is shown, you can check it with the grading company. Graded rarity on the card page tells you how scarce that grade is.

6. Buy, bid or set a limit

Buy at the ask and you get a quote to confirm before anything is sent. HoloScope charges 1%, and marketplace fees are separate. Prefer a lower price? Use a limit order, or bid where the marketplace supports offers. Your card then appears in your inventory with its cost.
